Hi! I am Tom the Tomato, the official mascot of Team Tomato, and I would like to welcome you to our home. Team Tomato is a March for Babies family team dedicated to supporting the March of Dimes and their fight to end premature birth and birth defects. The funds that we raise for the March of Dimes help support research and programs to find out how to prevent premature birth and how to help families who experience it. As prematurity is the number one cause of newborn death, the search for answers to this growing crisis is crucial to ensuring that all babies get a healthy start in the world.
Please support Team Tomato as we walk to help save babies at the 2009 March of Dimes- March for Babies event!! This is our 6th annual walk in memory of our 2 precious angel babies, Christopher Michael and Alexander Harris, who were born premature and too small to survive. Our hope is that somehow we can prevent other families from experiencing the same tragedy.
